They were run during the Asian 5 nations games. Players who did not play those games stayed back for intensive camps. We tried to mix fun with challenging training and time also for specific individual needs.
You can train a lot harder without burnout when you throw a bit of fun in. “Gorilla Ball” on the beach was always popular – beach volleyball with a 6-8kg medicine ball.
